Chris Moore, JD

Christopher Moore is Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Umoja Biopharma, where he brings more than 20 years of experience advising pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on a broad range of legal matters. Prior to joining Umoja, Christopher was Vice President, Transactional Law at Seagen, where he helped lead and build the legal affairs group as Seagen transformed into a global, multi-product company. While at Seagen, he led the legal negotiation of many license and collaboration agreements, including those with RemeGen, Merck, BeiGene, Astellas and Genmab. Prior to Seagen, Christopher served in roles of increasing responsibility at ZymoGenetics. He practiced with law firms in the United Kingdom and the United States, including most recently Perkins Coie LLP, where he represented clients in a variety of industries in connection with mergers and acquisitions, licensing and other transactions. He received his J.D. from Cambridge University.
